People adopting crash diet are more vulnerable to develop cellulite on different areas of their body including upper arm.

Although complete disappearance of cellulite is questionable, adopting few home techniques may help to combat cellulite on upper arms and prevent its further progression.

Since cellulite is a fat, excess weight gain can contribute cellulite. For it you have to lose weight gradually. Some of the fat that you lose may be upper arm cellulite.

Eat a diet which has less calories and low in fat and salt. All three helps to lose fat. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits. They are low in calories and packed with essential nutrients. Eat whole grain bread, lean meat, chicken, eggs, fish etc as they contain more of protein as compared to fat. Eat small meals frequently rather than three large meals. Drink enough water daily to nourish skin. Dehydration makes cellulite more visible.

Exercise is the main stay to prevent and diminish cellulite. Cardiovascular exercises helps to burn fat and reduce your weight. 30 minutes of walking or swimming will help to reduce and burn fat from the body.

Strength training exercise helps to tone the muscles, especially exercise oriented to tone triceps are beneficial in reducing cellulite of upper arms. Use dumbbells and bench dips to tone your triceps. Even pushups are beneficial for strengthening triceps.

Massage reinforces the benefits of exercise. Massage helps to increase circulation and burn the underlying fat. A gentle kneading massage may prevent further development of cellulite.
